Appraise This

NEW:  The Dow is in the 6000's...  AAAAAHHHhhhhhhhhhhgggg!!!  Not since 1997 has the Dow been so low.  I hear so much doom and gloom everywhere I go - it's really wearing me down!  So, today I wanted to try to be a little ray of sunshine - or at least attempt to break through the gloom a teeny tiny little bit...

HOT:  Who doesn't like a bargain?  And, boy, there are a LOT of bargains out there right now!  From Real Estate to flat screen TV's, if there is something you want or need to buy, you may be able to find a real deal!

Bad time to start your own business?  Maybe not!  Many businesses are going out - so you may be able to get a deal on a lease, or buy slightly used office furniture for pennies on the dollar.

There are always opportunities to build your wealth.  In difficult times like these it simply takes more imagination and fortitude.  But, we are Americans, and it is the American way to struggle and fight to achieve our dreams.  Perhaps over the past decade the dreams were handed out a bit too freely...  But those of us who are hard workers and persevere will come out of this on top! 

NOT:  The talk of Financial Armageddon, a Depression more severe than the GREAT Depression...  Enough already.  Let's look at some GOOD statistics - per the New York Times the personal savings rate for the final quarter of 2008 rose to the highest level in 6 years!

Stay strong, People!  We will survive this and become stronger and, hopefully, wiser.
